CAPIX Software Source Code Escrow

CAPIX has employed the services of an Escrow Agent for protecting Clients access to Source Code.

Software Escrow contracts are available for all clients of CAPIX Limited with Support Contracts. 

Escrow contracts involve CAPIX Limited lodging a copy of the software source code and passwords with an Escrow agent who acts as a trustee. CAPIX clients enter into a contract with both CAPIX and the Escrow agent which provides that should CAPIX become insolvent or stop supporting the software products, then the client shall be provided with a copy of the software and passwords by the Escrow agent.

Escrow agreements are common practice when companies buy "big ticket" software packages.

The cost of a software Escrow contract for any CAPIX is two hundred dollars per annum, payable to the Escrow agent.
