System Overview
The Fixed Interests - Primary Markets module has been designed into two (2)
major sections:-
- Client Section
- Administration Section
Client Section
The client section is divided into three (3) subsections:-
- Investor - Investors can view the latest bond issue details, as well as
place and cancel orders online.
- Manager - Managers can place orders, view the book-build of their own
orders, and execute orders that clients have ordered through them.
- Issuer - The bond Issuer can view the current overall book-build.
There are seven (7) distinct area's that may be accessed dependant upon the
client's role:-
- Latest Issues - This provides all relevant information on the Latest Issue, grey market information, management group for the issue and related links for the bond issue.
- Orders - Provides the ability to place an order and then subsequently cancel the order. Summary details are provided of current, cancelled and executed orders.
- Order Log - The system provides a consolidated view of all orders placed for the new issue. With an automated process for acceptance of an order and notification to the investor of their successful bid.
- Bookbuild - Displays the total orders spread to benchmark both numerically and in a bar chart display.
- Tools - Provides price calculation tools for bond pricing, bond yield calculator and yield curves.
- Research - Provides all the latest links into research material for the investor. This may include economic reports, domestic and international equities, fixed interest research, services and fixed income research.
- Contact Details. Provides relevant contact information relating to the issue and the management group.
Administration Section
The administrative section has two (2) distinct areas of administration
- Setting up the bond on offer, which includes
- Book Build ranges
- The total amount to be issued
- The issuer
- Applicable spreads
- Managers, and Co Managers
- Setting up clients, and login accounts
- Creating User Login Accounts
- Creating Institutions as Managers, and Issuers
