Introduction

Overview

CAPIX Internet Exchange (CiX) is a modular software package for Internet based securities trading. Clients use CiX for distributing securities and financial services via the Internet and managing Client or Counter party accounts.

CiX is a modular, integrated system consisting of nine modules.

CiX may be configured for operations in:

• Securities Broking

• Over-the-counter (OTC) Trading

• Exchange Traded Securities

• Treasury Operations 

• Banks

• Other Financial Institutions

Modules

CAPIX Internet Exchange modules provide for a wide range of financial instruments. Each module is fully configurable and table driven to enhance operations.

Modules include:

• Equities Broking

• Futures Broking

• Fixed Interest Trading

• Money Markets

• Energy Trading

• Banking

• Transaction Execution

• Transaction Clearing

• Market Monitoring

As new instruments are required, these can be set up via parameterisation, allowing them to be immediately available on the Internet to your clients. CiX provides asset class financial models, meaning it can be bought on a module by module basis, specific to client requirements. CAPIX will agree to work with the customers to enhance these modules to specific requirement. It is CAPIX policy to feed all enhancements back into the base system, in order to maintain a single version of software.
