CiX - Banking Module (BK)

Overview

The CiX Banking module is used for Internet-based cash management. the Banking module may be used stand-alone or in conjunction with other CiX modules. The Banking module shares the same database and tables as other CAPIX products, allowing seamless integration with other modules such as Money Market, Fixed interest and Equities.

There are two principal purposes or uses of the Banking Module, which depend on the nature of the operation:

  • Public. Securities trading firms, such as Equities or Fixed interest Brokers, can use the CiX Banking Module to give their clients access to Cash Management/Trust Accounts via the Internet. For instance, Private Clients would be able to log into the

similar in nature and function as the internet-based online software used by banks for online banking

  • Private. Corporate Treasuries

Enterprise-wide cash management

Typically the Banking module is used in conjunction with other modules, such as Equities Broking, to provide on-line cash management capabilities for clients

1. Secure login
a. User-ID/Password challenge/response
b. Same User-permissions matrix as CTC

2. Balance Enquires
a. Single page listing a summary and balances of all bank accounts
b. Click on an Account to view the transaction history of that account
c. Online bank statements

3. Transaction History
a. View the transaction history for each account
b. View the transaction history for a given date range

4. Create Single Cashbook Records

5. Create Schedules of Cashbook Records

6. Cashflow Projections Report

Interfaces

The Banking module includes interfaces for several external systems, including Bank and Broking systems. These interfaces are used to import data from other sources
