    CAPIX is a small, well-established software company located on St Kilda Road. We publish a portfolio of software packages for the professional Capital Markets, mainly in the treasury and funds management areas.

    Last year saw strong growth for CAPIX and we have a substantial sales pipeline to manage and support. An additional Sales/Product Manager is sought to capitalise on these opportunities.

    CAPIX is in the process of releasing a new software product for the professional Investment/Funds Management sector. Following the impressive rise in market share of our corporate treasury software, CAPIX envisages being a major player in the Funds Management area over the next couple of years.

    We seek a sales-orientated individual with a suitable background to manage the new Funds Management software package and expand the presence of CAPIX in the Investment sector.

    The role includes:  

    • Executing marketing campaigns to raise awareness of CAPIX in the Investment Management sector  
    • Prospecting and identifying potential clients  
    • Writing sales proposals and conducting software product presentations
    • Managing the sales pipeline using Microsoft CRM
    • Contract negotiations with new clients
    • Providing Account Management services for existing clients
       
    The person we seek:
    • Should have a solid background in the Securities industry, preferably with exposure to Funds Management
    • Experience selling software or financial services at the institutional level would be very well regarded
    • Will have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
    • Is a team player and 'someone who jumps in and gets the job done
       
    Empathy with client needs and expectations is mandatory. Technical or programming skills are not required, although the successful applicant will have a flair for business software.
